Watson Links and 15 and the Mahomies Foundation Announce Inspiring Partnership to Empower Youth Through Golf and Mentorship

Kansas City, MO — Watson Links, the youth golf mentoring organization founded by golf legend Tom Watson, is proud to announce a dynamic new partnership with the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation, the nonprofit established by NFL MVP and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. This collaboration brings together two icons of sport and service with a shared mission: to positively impact the lives of young people through sports and mentoring.

As part of this partnership, the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation will serve as the official sponsor of the Watson Links Kansas City Swing Series, a summer initiative that pairs junior golfers with vetted adult mentors for complimentary 9-hole rounds at over a dozen golf courses throughout the Kansas City metro area. Running from May 26 to June 27, the Swing Series will provide 140+ free tee times and is anticipated to serve upwards of 100 junior golfers, helping to build player confidence that extends far beyond the game itself.

Founded in Watson’s hometown of Kansas City, Watson Links is devoted to eliminating barriers to the game—including course access, cost, and knowledge—so more children can discover the joy and lifelong value of golf. Watson Links goes beyond merely introducing kids to golf; it provides on-course guides, fosters positive role models, and opens up new avenues for fun.
